Concerted Services, Inc., a Community Action Agency serving twenty-eight counties in Southeast Georgia, is currently accepting applications for the position of Fiscal/Compliance Director. The general purpose of the position is to supervise, control, interpret and communicate the fiscal operations of the Agency. In addition, the Fiscal/Compliance Director will maintain all official accounting records in conformance with generally accepted government accounting principles. This position requires a thorough knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures which apply to accounting and finance in non-profit organizations. The ability to make independent judgments which have highly significant impacts on the Agency, and the ability to present and communicate ideas and concepts in public and private, verbally and written, is required. The ideal candidate must have a bachelors degree in accounting or finance, and 5-8 years experience in the lead role of an organizations finance/accounting/fiscal department. A Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is preferred. Applicants without the required education and experience will not be considered. Concerted Services, Inc. is currently accepting applications for weatherization technicians in Ware County. These are full-time positions. Salary is $13.92 per hour working 37.5 hrs per week. Applicants must have a high school diploma/GED and two years experience in residential renovation and/or related field. Must be able to work in inclement weather and perform renovation work for on site homes/mobile homes.
