Irish folklore holds that green is the favorite of the Good People (the proper name for faeries). The faeries (or children ) at the children at the A.V. Kennedy Early Head Start Center were seeing green as they wore special hats to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Children learned about the color green which they help make for the occasion.
