Nutrition

Nutritional health enhances children’s ability to concentrate and learn.  The goal of the nutritional services component is to improve the nutritional health of all children and families through nutritional assessments, counseling, and nutrition education for the entire family.  The CSI Child Development Services provides nutritious meals – breakfast, lunch and snacks.  All menus are developed in accordance with USDA guidelines.  Accommodations are made for children with special dietary needs.

“Eating is not merely a material pleasure.  Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship.  It is of great importance to the morale.”

- Elsa Schiaparelli, Italian Designer
