The Pre-K serves 120 four year olds through funding from the Georgia State lottery. The funding is enhanced by Head Start services that include health, dental, mental health, disabilities, parent involvement, case management, family literacy and other special services that state funding does not cover. Currently, Pre-K services are provided in Coffee and Ware County.

Upon entry into the program, each child receives required screenings to confirm that he or she is in good health and is developing well. This is the initial determination of the child’s overall health status, developmental strengths, needs, and areas of identified concern such as possible delay or disability.

How to Apply:

If you live in Coffee or Ware counties and have a child who is four by September 1st, contact the Family Advocate in your county or visit the center. There are no income criteria for enrollment in Pre-K, and enrollment is based on a first come, first served basis
