Concerted Services, Inc.’s 45th Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the First Baptist Church located at 15 North Main Street in Baxley beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The program will feature prominent guest speaker, Mr. Ken Jacobsen of St. Simons Island, Founder and President of CourageWorks, Inc. Mr. Jacobsen helps create high-performing organizations through innovative leadership practices and deep cultural engagement. He brings a strong financial orientation, having served as President of a health care coalition, Executive Vice President of a national health insurer, Senior Vice President of an actuarial and human resources consulting firm, and Owner-Operator of a consulting company.
A leadership consultant, executive coach and change facilitator, Mr. Jacobsen helps leaders forge organizations with an uncommon capacity to adapt, collaborate, innovate and deliver – building businesses that continually excel in their space.
Mr. Jacobsen has served as a faculty member of The Secretan Center, a worldwide leadership-consulting firm dedicated to reawakening spirit and values in the workplace, and is a longtime instructor of self-development workshops including Freedom to Be©, 5 Dynamics©, and Discovering Your Life Purpose. The accumulation of these executive, teaching and consulting experiences presents a successful leader who is skillfully practiced at developing and executing strategies, strengthening human relationships, and building cooperative, highly effective organizations with a strong bottom line.
Mr. Jacobsen obtained a bachelors degree from Merrimack College in Andover, Massachusetts and completed the acclaimed Executive Program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In addition to earning his faculty designation at The Secretan Center, he has studied at numerous learning organizations including Global Relationship Centers in Austin, Texas, the Center for Inner Knowing in Atlanta, Georgia, the Animas Valley Institute in Durango, Colorado, and The Difference Engine in Vancouver, British Columbia.
